Jessica's Photography : January 2016

What brought me to photo 1 was that when i'm taking pictures it it takes the stress away from that day or gives my a break from math or other classes and gets my creative mind thinking. I also think I am a good photographer. I have learned how to use the shutter on my camera and the timer witch really helped me with my last project. Photography helped me learn that I have a creative mind and sometimes when I think of something to do it doesn't always work out. The challenge I faced was finding time to take the pictures if I had a busy day or week. My favorite project from this semester was the macro pictures, I really had fun with those. I think I would have like to re-do the portrait photos because i didn't do the best i could have on those. I didn't give myself enough time to do the portrait photos. It also was hard to find time for my family members to take the pictures of.

My final self portraits were about being free and open minded I thought that if everyone was a little more open minded about things people would be happy. Being open minded helps me try new things or look at things in a different prospective than my own and thats just what my self portraits symbolize. When people see my self portraits I want the, to go a way with an open mind and to think freely and not to sit in there unhappy bubbles. Pop the bubble and be happy, try new things.

I would tell the next photography student to be open minded and try to make time to take a good picture. most of the pictures tell you about your personality and help you understand you. Take the time out of your day to take some pictures. I hope people enjoy photography as much as I do.
